Juan Gonzalez Obituary, Death – Juan Carlos Matute Gonzalez, 43, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Born in Azogues, Ecuador, Juan was the beloved son of Jaime Matute and the late Martha Florencia Gonzalez. He was a dedicated family man and the proud owner of DiCarlo Pizza in Southampton, PA.

Known for his love of cars and avid soccer fan, especially of Ecuador’s C.S. Emelec, Juan was the heart of any gathering. His talent for organizing events and parties made him a cherished figure among family and friends. In addition to being a devoted son, Juan played the roles of a loving husband to Transito “Isabel” Suquitana and a doting father to Carlos and Isabella Matute.

Juan is survived by his father, Jaime Matute, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Florencio Suquitana and Maria Gonzalez. He leaves behind seven siblings – Ivan, Jaime, Roberto, Carmen, Sergio, Hilda, and Pedro Matute – and seven sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lucia, Norma, Mercedes, Diana, Juan, Luis, and Patricia Suquitana. His extended family includes numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home on October 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on October 25, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-Immaculate Conception Church, Trenton, NJ. Juan Carlos Matute Gonzalez will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, love for family, and contributions to his community.
